What I collect

• Almost nothing, by default. The public pages are mostly static, and any interactive tools run entirely in your browser — nothing you type into them is sent anywhere.
• What you choose to send me. If you email hello@backporch.studio or submit a form, I receive what you put in it (typically your name, email, and message).
• Aggregate analytics. If enabled, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool counts page views in aggregate. No cross-site tracking, no profiles, no selling of data.
• The client demo. The signed-in demo uses one cookie to keep you logged in, and runs on synthetic SANDBOX data — no real client information.

Your data in an engagement

In real client work, your data stays in your environment — code comes to the data (compute-to-data), and only results come back. Analytical tables use surrogate IDs; no personal information is stored in them. The specifics are set in our written agreement.

How I use it

Only to reply to you and to improve the site. I don't sell your information, and I don't share it except where you ask me to or the law requires.
